Watercolour flowers

I was delighted to find that week #39 challenge on kis! (Keep it Simple) is watercolour as I am doing the online course "Watercolour for Card Makers".  For this card I created a watercolour background by inking an acrylic block with Versamark then putting distress ink around the edges and spritzing with water.  This produces a loved muted effect.  I stamped the image with distress markers and then coloured it using distress markers and a paintbrush.

Materials used:-
Various distress markers
Tumbled glass distress ink
Stamps from "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady" set which was a free gift from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine
