Muse Christmas card

The guest Muse, Kristie Goulet, has created a beautiful black and white Christmas card to inspire us on Muse Christmas Visions this week.  I liked the clean design and the use of a quotation on the Muse card and tried to recreate this.  However, I'm not entirely happy with the placement of the holly on my card - it might have been better to put it in the middle.

Patchwork card

Challenge #41 at CAS on Sunday is to use black & white with one other colour. I thought this stamp suited the CAS design I was trying to create although I did wonder if I have left enough white space. I stamped the image on little squares, using distress ink to colour the hearts. These were then mounted on black and then white card. Finally I used Glossy Accents to highlight the hearts and added 2 heart gems to define the sentiment.
