Muse Christmas card

The guest Muse, Kristie Goulet, has created a beautiful black and white Christmas card to inspire us on Muse Christmas Visions this week.  I liked the clean design and the use of a quotation on the Muse card and tried to recreate this.  However, I'm not entirely happy with the placement of the holly on my card - it might have been better to put it in the middle.

Materials used:-
Sentiment stamps - Stamps Away Christmas Defined
Holly - free stamp from Simply Homemade Magazine issue 48
Inks - Versafine onyx black, Versacolor green tea and colorbox chalk ink, rouge
Lawn Fawn die - large stitched rectangle stackables
Linen card

Thanks for visiting my blog!

  1. I love how you were inspired, Margaret! That sentiment is awesome!

  2. This is absolutely beautiful, Margaret! I have my thinking cap on and hope to make my card for this challenge today! Thanks so much for joining us at MCV this week!

  3. This is a great sentiment and a beautiful card...and your holly looks fine where it is to me! x

  4. I absolutely LOVE where you placed the bits of holly on your card! It is unexpected in a very, very effective way. Seems to create balance and nice movement on your card...from the holly to the sentiment and back to the hollly!

  5. Great take of the Muse card, just perfect!
