Data Protection and Privacy Policy

This Data Protection and Privacy Policy has been written by me as the sole owner of the Island Scraps blog and it applies to all content on my blog. This is a private non-profit making blog where I share my examples of my handmade cards and various paper crafting techniques.

Island Scraps does not and will not ever share personal information with third parties.  It is my understanding that Blogger does not store any information about your visit to this blog other than to analyse and optimise your content and reading experience through the use of cookies.  You can turn off the use of cookies at any time by changing your specific browser settings.

The only other information Blogger collects on behalf of Island Scraps is limited to your name and your Google+ or blog link when you leave a comment; Feedburner also stores your name and email address if you have elected to follow by email. As all material on my blog is free, I never ask for debit/credit card details.

Email followers
If you subscribe via email, you are entitled to unsubscribe at any time of your choosing.  Your email address will only ever be used to notify you of a new blogpost at Island Scraps. The data is held by Feedburner and is subject to their security protocols.  Both Blogger and Feedburner are managed by Google and if you have any concerns regarding their data use you can find their Privacy Policy here.

Bloglovin' Followers
If you follow via Bloglovin', you are entitled to unsubscribe at any time of your choosing.  Any information collected by Bloglovin' from my blog is governed by their own Privacy Policy.

Third-party links
Occasionally, at my discretion, I may include or offer third-party products or services on this blog. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. I therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, I want to protect the integrity of Island Scraps and welcome any feedback about these sites.

I am not responsible for republished content from this blog on other blogs or websites without my permission.

Blogger provides an option for all users and commentators to delete comments they leave on any blog.  If you wish to delete your published comments from my blog, you are free to do so.  If any technical problems occur, you should contact Blogger or Google.

This Privacy Policy is subject to change without notice. If you have any queries then please feel free to contact me, Margaret Rorie, by email, via the link in the sidebar.
