Three Colour Challenge

I'm very late posting my entry for the Less is More Challenge this week as I've been busy trying out techniques from "The Watercolour for Card Makers" course. Week 170 challenge is 3 Colours or 3 shades of the same colour.

For my card I decided to create a watercolour background using distress inks. I embossed the grasses first then wet the watercolour card slightly before brushing on the distress inks. I liked the way the colours blended so well together. The watercolour card made a difference too.

Materials used:-
Distress inks - Ripe Persimmon, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves
Stamps - Hero Arts Silhouette Grass and Stampin Up sentiment from So Happy for You

Thank you for visiting my blog - please pop over to LIM and see what the other participants have created - there are lots of examples this week!
