Muse card

This week's Muse, Marion Vagg, has created a lovely CAS card to inspire us.  I particularly liked the effect of the white embossing on the turquoise card and I tried to replicate this in my card. I used distress inks to create an ombré effect.  My apologies for the photo - the colours are brighter in real life.

I am also going to enter this card into Inkspirational #74 where the challenge is ombre.

Materials used:-
Stamps - Uniko Studio Background Builders Lattice set
Distress inks - tumbled glass, broken China and salty ocean
White embossing powder
I used Kaleidoscope blue breeze to ink the sentiment
Inkylicious ink duster

Thanks for visiting my blog!

  3. Very pretty - I gave some thought to sponging my card for more depth - now I'm wishing I had! So glad you joined us at Muse this week, Margaret!

  4. You've cleverly created the ombre look with your shades of Distress ink - I tried this and gave up as it is harder than it looks - and your has turned out beautifully for a lovely card. Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges. Come back next time! Marina
