Earth Tones

The colour challenge for week 179 at Less is More is   Earth Tones.   I made a very simple card using the Kaleidocolor rainbow dye inkpad which has lots of earth tones. I thought the card looked quite bare so I inked the edges lightly with some distress ink, added machine stitching and some glitter stickles to the seed heads. I am feeling quite pleased with myself as the stamp and the inkpad both came from my NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff)!

Materials used:-
Woodware Grasses stamp
Kaleidocolor - Cappuccino Delight
Distress ink - Antique linen
Ranger Stickles - copper

  3. Great idea to use the multi ink pad for this stamp and the stitching really sets it off to a 'T' Margaret - super card!

  9. Hello, Margaret! I'm finally back home and I've caught up with you as I'm meeting all my new followers through NBUS. Thank you for using the term, using your NBUS, and putting my button on your side bar!

Most importantly, thank you for joining as a follower! You will be introduced on my next post which is for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. WOYWW is not a challenge, merely a hop for fun where we take pictures of what's going on at our desks to share. Everyone posts and links on Wednesdays only and then we visit other "deskers" as best we can that day or throughout the week. It's just another fun way to make new friends!

Finally, I LOVE this card! I'm really loving all your cards as I went along from your very first post to your most recent! It's a real pleasure to meet you!! Hugs, Darnell
