I haven't taken part in the Less is More challenges recently due to lack of time but I was keen to try this week's one as the theme is "books and literature". I wanted to use the Graphic 45 stamp of a little girl reading as she looks so engrossed in her book. I have tried to keep the design clean and simple but still have a vintage feel.
Materials used:-
Stamps - Graphic 45 "Schooldays" set
Script stamp - Hero Arts "old letter writing"
Sentiment - Uniko Studio Fontiments Birthday
Inks - Archival Sepia and Versafine Onyx Black
Thanks for visiting my blog - now pop over to LIM to see what the other participants have created.
I love the vintage feel of this card! The soft brown script and image contrast perfectly with the stronger black sentiments on top. A lovely tribute to books and the joy of reading :) Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteYes perfectly CAS with vintage feel. Terrific take on the challenge. Thanks for sharing at Less is More!

ReplyDeleteA wonderful image for our challenge and I love how the gently stamped script grounds her. Lot of lovely white space too.
